Software, Design & Development
The software is the stage where the mechanical and electrical parts of our machines are fused to provide a working solution.
Our in-house software engineers are continuously being tasked with new challenges, and as a result, their knowledge is developed. With the ability to program over multiple platforms, such as Beckhoff, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, and Siemens, amongst others, this allows us to provide clients with a system that suits their exact needs.
The Importance of In-House Software Engineers
Many machine builders subcontract out their software, but with SP Automation & Robotics, we have always realised and understood the need to have this discipline in-house. Software always requires modification during the build and installation stages, and having this support on hand ensures that when problems do arise, they can be acted upon instantly.
Robotics and Vision
Just as with the control system, our software engineers are trained to work on many robotic and vision system applications. Having integrated ABB, Staubli, Yakawa, Kamasaki, Kuka, Mitsubishi and Fanuc, our ability to adapt to our customers is second to none.
Vision systems are the same; having experience using Cognex, Keyence, Omron, and Wenglor, amongst many others, allows us to adapt to almost any system.
