AMRs are collaborative and designed to work alongside humans. Being completely safe is the main feature for collaborative mobile robots that run in dynamic environments and work alongside humans. In case a human stumbles in front of a MiR, a safety-rated laser scanning system interprets the obstruction fast enough to either reroute or stop completely to prevent a collision. The MiR have 360-degree safety coverage around the robot, detecting obstacles out several meters ahead so they can determine what needs to happen next.
