  • For over 150 years, Scottish Engineering has served as a vital connector, linking businesses with essential resources, expertise, and supply chain opportunities. This extends to both within Scotland and internationally.  
• Advocacy and Influence:
  • They actively engage with political leaders, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders to represent their members’ interests. This ensures that the engineering sector’s voice is heard on crucial policy matters.  
• Promotion and Celebration:
  • Scottish Engineering plays a crucial role in highlighting the achievements of its members, thereby raising the profile and positive perception of the engineering industry in Scotland.  
• Skills Development and Training:
  • Recognising the importance of a skilled workforce, they facilitate training programs that enhance the capabilities of individuals at all levels. They also encourage the sharing of best practices among members.   
• STEM Education Support:
  • They are committed to fostering the next generation of engineers by supporting STEM education initiatives. This involves working with educational institutions to inspire young people to pursue careers in engineering.
