We are delighted to welcome John and Dion to the SP Automation & Robotics team.
As we continue to grow and expand our capabilities in automation, robotics, and advanced engineering solutions, bringing talented people into our business is essential to delivering the high standards of innovation and service our customers expect.
John – Design Engineer
We’re delighted to welcome John Scott to the team.
John has recently returned to Scotland and brings strong capabilities in mechanical design, with experience in SolidWorks and Inventor. He enjoys project-based work and delivering practical engineering solutions.
He previously worked at Novosound, contributing to ultrasonic technology development in a regulated (ISO 13485) environment, with experience in NPI, FAT testing, PCB production, and additive manufacturing.
John holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dundee and is a valuable addition to the
Dion – Electrical Technician
Dion is an experienced Electrical Technician with over 10 years’ experience in the automation industry, specialising in the manufacture, installation, and maintenance of bespoke automation systems across a range of industries. He began his career at AGR Automation and has since joined SP Automation & Robotics as an Electrical Technician.
Dion is experienced in successfully completing complex electrical builds, panel wiring, system commissioning, and fault finding. He holds an HND in electrical engineering, which complements his strong practical experience with theoretical knowledge in control systems, electrical principles, and automation technologies.
Their skills, enthusiasm, and fresh perspectives will play an important role as we continue helping our customers improve productivity, efficiency, and operational performance through automation.
