Engineering / Technology Company of the Year
The Made in Scotland awards took place on Thursday 19th May 2022 at Glasgow Science Centre and we were extremely proud to be announced as the winners of the Engineering/Technology Company of the Year.
This award was for a Scottish based engineering or technology company involved in the manufacturing supply chain, which demonstrated its ability to innovate and make an impact in the market it operates in.
Commenting on the award win, SP Automation & Robotics director, Roy Henderson, said: “We are delighted to have received the award and to be recognised for our success. Our company is a truly innovative business, and what made it even more special was having a table full of some of our team members, which allowed them to also embrace the recognition. After all it is these people who help make us the success that we are and deserve the recognition also.”
Lee Nixon, SP Automation & Robotics, co-director added: “To win this award brings me extreme satisfaction in proudly leading a strong, knowledgeable workforce who take pride in their individual roles. SP Automation & Robotics uses the strengths of all the constituent parts to pull together to invent and create system solutions which our customers can be proud of also.”
Back for its sixth year, the Business Insider Made in Scotland Awards in partnership with the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS) champions all aspects of manufacturing in Scotland. The guest speakers at the awards were Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise Ivan McKee and Panther M*lk founder Paul Crawford and were hosted by writer, actor, and comedian Sanjeev Kohli.
Congratulations to all of the other winners
Thank you to Insider Scotland and the Glasgow Science Centre for a great evening.
