AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR A CONTROL TECHNICIAN

The Role

We are now looking to grow our team further with the addition of a Control Technician.

The ideal candidate should have experience in electrical panel build and machine wiring. This can vary from small fixtures to fully automated production lines. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the equipment is built to design specifications and functional requirements. Overall, the control technician plays a crucial role in ensuring electrical control systems are efficiently built, tested and completed within project timelines.

The successful candidate must have an understanding of industrial automation equipment. Occasionally, travel is required to undertake installation and commissioning at our client’s premises.

We like to view our modern facility as a great multi-disciplined team environment which has immediate access to our design and engineering departments, enabling our team to work closely and follow the project from concept to solution.

Ideal Required Skill Set

• Build electrical systems to specifications in detailed control drawings.
• Install and test control circuitry and hardware devices.
• Debug control systems and overall machine operation.
• Undertake client machine installation and commissioning.
• Mark-up modifications to detailed drawings to reflect as-built status.
• Specify and procure electrical consumables.
• Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• NC / HNC Engineering discipline

Personal Attributes

• Excellent communication skills.
• Willing to learn.
• Have a desire to grow within the company.
• Problem solving.
• A clean Driving Licence would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel for Client/Supplier.
